Propel Co:Labs Fitness Festival

Propel Co:Labs event at Playlist Yoga

Last week, we were able to attend the Propel Co:Labs event at our favorite yoga studio, Playlist Yoga (actually, more like the only studio we go to when we very occasionally do yoga). Playlist is already usually so fun because of the music, but for this event, there was a DJ, which made it even better.

All last week, there was a series of workout events, hosted by Propel Co:Labs at different studios in LA. And all leading up to the big Propel Co:Labs Fitness Festival, which is this weekend August 12-13! Think music festival but with fun workouts and great music like AlunaGeorge.

We’re so excited to be attending because all of our favorite LA studios will be there (Playlist Yoga, Speedplay LA, Prevail Boxing). Plus there will be celebrity trainers like Gunnar Peterson (who doesn’t want to train like the Kardashians?!) and celebrities like Grace’s biggest girl crush, Shay Mitchell. But we’re most excited to be getting a taste of different studios in country like New York’s Tone House! We both have been wanting to go to a Tone House class in New York, but have been scared and unable to find the time for it.

While we’re so sad we can’t make it on Saturday, we’ll be there on Sunday (potentially hungover oops)!

– 11 am Scott Foley x Gunnar Peterson
– 12 pm Speedplay
– 2 pm Prevail Boxing
– 3 pm Speedplay x Tone House

Park Beach Club with Truly Sparkling

It’s almost August. You know what that means… Park Beach Club! Every year we throw a huge pool party and invite all our friends. As soon as the weather gets warm, we start planning the party. It’s a day filled with floaties, tacos, and delicious drinks. We have some exciting things planned for this year’s party, so be on the lookout for our video recapping the event toward the end of August!

Here are some of our absolute essentials for Park Beach Club:

This year we’re excited to add Truly Spiked & Sparkling, a spiked sparkling water which is just 100 calories and 1 gram of sugar! We plan on consuming a lot of tacos, so we love that Truly Spiked & Sparkling is a great light and refreshing alternative to beer and cocktails.

Recipe: SaladPower Popsicles

How is it almost June already?! Although we’re sad that 2017 halfway over, we’re excited for the warm weather, pool parties, and BBQs. We don’t have anything exciting planned for Memorial Day weekend, but we plan on lounging by the pool and cooling off with these homemade SaladPower popsicles and several glasses of rosé.

SaladPower is juice that’s low in sugar and full of vitamins. It’s loaded with superfood vegetables  and 100% juice, natural, and non-gmo. We’re both crazy about green juice so we were excited to discover a healthier juice.

If you saw our Instagram, you know the first batch didn’t turn out well. Turns out you have to freeze popsicles for a very long time. Be patient!

SaladPower Popsicle
Ingredients:
4 cups fruit of your choice (we used strawberries, cherries, and cantaloupes)
1/2 cup SaladPower juice of your choice (we used Just Veggies)
1/4 cup almond milk

Instructions:
1. Blend fruits, SaladPower juice, and almond milk until smooth.
2. Pour into popsicle molds.
3. Freeze overnight.
4. Enjoy!
