It can be hard to stay healthy during the holidays with more holiday gatherings and obligations since you have less time for yourself. But it’s important to focus on staying healthy during the holidays! Here are 5 tips to do just that.
Tip 1: Remember to take vitamins & supplements to boost your immune system.
We know that during the holidays we’ll be busier with more holiday activities and gatherings with friends. But with the colder weather, we want to make sure we stay healthy, especially since we don’t want to miss out on anything! We like to take OLLY Active Immunity. It has elderberry and a blend of vitamin c & zinc to help keep your immune system strong.
Tip 2: Use OLLY Beat the Bloat.
Since there will likely be more holiday parties, gatherings, and dinners, you’ll likely be eating out a lot more during the holidays. We love to use OLLY Beat the Bloat to help with our digestion during this time. It has digestive enzymes to help break down carbs, fats, and proteins for less bloating and more digestive comfort. It also has dandelion which helps with digestion and water retention. We honestly swear by Beat the Bloat! It just takes 1 capsule and helps so much.
Tip 3: Drink plenty of water!
It’s important to stay hydrated! We always carry around a water bottle with us and refill it throughout the day. If you have trouble drinking plain water, try adding some fruits to it like lemons and oranges. It’ll add a little flavor to it!
Tip 4: Get plenty of rest.
We aim to sleep 7-8 hours per night. We know that can be difficult, but it’s important to get plenty of rest. We like to take OLLY Sleep gummies before bed to help us fall asleep. We also use blackout curtains or an eye mask to make sure our room is dark enough to allow us to stay asleep throughout the night.
Tip 5: Make time for working out!
Even though we might be too tired to work out, we like to make time for ourselves and go to the gym. We find that when we skip our workouts it affects our mood, our sleep, and our energy.
But instead of pushing ourselves too hard when we’re tired, we listen to our bodies and try to add movement based on what our body needs. If we’re too tired, we’ll choose to do something a little more low intensity like going for a walk with our dogs. But if we have the energy, we’ll do some of our favorite workouts like SoulCycle or a HIIT class!
