One of the reasons why we go to Paris frequently is because of the amazing deals we find on airline tickets. Also, who can say no to delicious carbs, butter, and wine?? But one of our favorite things to do in Paris is to walk around and shoot content. We’ve rounded up our favorite Instagrammable spots in Paris.
We’ve even created a Google Map at the end with all the locations!
Trocadéro
Address: Place du Trocadéro et du 11 Novembre, 75016 Paris, France
Cost: Free
Trocadéro is the most Instagrammable spot in Paris. Everyone comes here for photos (couples, Instagrammers, etc.) so it gets extremely busy. You can shoot at sunrise to get the perfect shot, but there will still be a decent amount of people also shooting. There’s several spots you can get a photo with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Note: Since it is very touristy spot, there are a lot of pickpockets. Be cautious when taking bags so as not to leave valuables laying around.
Trocadéro Carousel (Carrousel de Paris)
Walk down the stairs and towards the Eiffel Tower, and you’ll find a carousel!
Point d’Iéna
Address: Pont d’Iéna, 75116 Paris, France
Cost: Free
Point d’Iéna is the bridge in front of the Eiffel Tower. This spot is across the street from Trocadéro and another great spot to get photos with the Eiffel Tower. The original spot we wanted to picnic in front of was closed due to the weather. Set your Uber destination to Point d’Iéna and take the stairs leading down to the water. While we wouldn’t actually recommend actually picnicking here, it’s a great spot for photos.
Louvre Pyramid
Cost: 17€ to enter Louvre, but free photos outside with the Pyramids
Like the other Instagrammable spots in Paris, the Louvre Pyramids get really crowded. Shoot at sunrise or late at night. We worked with a photographer (@konokoy) for an evening shoot. Even then there were a lot of people around, and we often had to wait for people to get out of the frame.
Palais-Royal
Address: Place Palais Royal, 75001 Paris, France
Cost: Free
It’s walking distance from the Louvre! These pillars range in height, so you can find one that works for you.
Musée d’Orsay Clock
Address: 1 rue de la Légion d’Honneur, 75007 Paris, France
Cost: 14€
Head upstairs to find the clock.
It’s not difficult to get a photo at the Musée d’Orsay clock because most people will generally line up and wait their turn.
Arc de Triomphe
Address: Place de l’Étoile, 75008 Paris, France
Cost: Free
Arc de Triomphe is always really busy and packed with cars so we got there a little before sunrise. (We Photoshopped the clouds in and removed a garbage truck.) Even then a lot of our photos had cars in the shot.
Please don’t try to get in the middle of the road for a closer shot.
The Basilica of Sacré-Cœur
Address: 35 Rue du Chevalier de la Barre
Cost: Free, 5€ to go to top
On a clear day, you can get a gorgeous view of Paris from Sacré-Cœur. The last time we went, a lot of people were sitting on the steps, drinking beer, and enjoying the view.
It’s a nice, short uphill walk to the Basilica, which we highly recommend to make room for more croissants and butter.
The Sinking House
Cost: Free
This is right next to the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur.
The house is not actually sinking, but it’s an optical illusion when you tilt your camera to make the grass level.
Sacré-Cœur Carousel
Located at the foot of Sacré-Cœur!
La Maison Rose
Address: 2 rue de l’Abreuvoir, 75018 Paris, France
Cost: Varies, photo free
La Maison Rose isn’t just a cute Instagrammable spot. Did you know that this restaurant has been open for over 100 years and was frequently visited by Picasso?
Pink Mamma
Address: 20 bis rue de Douai, 75009 Paris, France
Cost: Varies
Make reservations ahead of time for dinner! We had to wait a couple of hours when we did a walk-in. While the whole restaurant is very Instagram friendly, the below photo is from the top floor.
We also went to the speakeasy downstairs in the basement level while waiting for our table. It’s through the walk-in fridge!

Hope you enjoy Paris as much as we do.
