We’ve recently started loving and wearing looser, lined running shorts more than the tight spandex biker shorts, especially in the summer. They’re much more comfortable and breezy, which makes it great for running or even lounging throughout the day. One pair of shorts that we love is the Lululemon Hotty Hot shorts! We love that they come in different inseams and both low-rise and high-rise. But, of course, we needed to find a dupe, and after searching for a while, we found the best Lululemon Hotty Hot shorts dupe from Amazon for less than half the price.
Comparing the Two
The dupe from Amazon has a larger mesh detailing on the bottom. It also has 2 large zippered outer pockets, while the Lululemon only has 1 small zippered outer pocket on the left and a hidden pocket in the back on the inside left. The Lululemon also has a drawstring on the inside. Both run true to size. The Lululemon has comes in both 2.5″ and 4″ inseams and in both low-rise and high-rise.

Our Pick
Overall, we’d pick the Lululemon Hotty Hot shorts. Even though the two are pretty similar, we find the fit of the original Lululemon shorts to be better and more flattering. However, compared to all the other options we found on Amazon, we found this particular Amazon short to be the closest dupe in both style and fit to the original.
