This past week, we were invited to put our spin on No Bake Energy Balls with Timeline Nutrition at the Natural Products Expo West. Now these may be small, but they are jam packed with amazing benefits, such as improving muscle function and revitalizing mitochondria!
Mitochondria? The powerhouse of the cell? That’s right!
It all started with the pomegranate. After 10 years studying the health benefits of the pomegranate, the Swiss-based team over at Timeline Nutrition developed an amazing nutrient called Mitopure, which supports the health of your mitochondria. Now before you run off to the store to grab ALL the pomegranates, we have some news for you. Turns out that most of us don’t get the health benefits of Mitopure from eating pomegranates because our bodies don’t digest the red fruit well. These benefits include:
- High energy levels
- Faster recovery
- More endurance
- Increased strength
Luckily, there is Mitopure! You can put it in your favorite recipes, like our Energy Balls, to give them a healthy boost. We were so excited to work with the Timeline Nutrition team to create these delicious cherry, chocolate, almond & coconut energy bites with their Mitopure Powder! The powder comes in stick packs and are Berry and Pomegranate flavored. We love how easy it was to bake with, especially for this recipe!
These No Bake Energy Balls only take 15 minutes and they’re the PERFECT snack. We love having these right before a workout!
