We found a vegan fast food truck in LA! Yes, you read that right. Vegan fast food. Plant Power Fast Food makes traditional fast food 100% plant-based and is absolutely delicious.
Plant Power has 7 different brick-and-mortar locations from San Diego to Long Beach to Riverside. But they also have a food truck that serves the Los Angeles area. You can find the schedule for the truck on their website and follow their Instagram @theplantpowertruck.
The menu is 100% plant-based, cholesterol-free, and 99% GMO-free. They have no artificial flavors, no hydrogenated oils, no trans fat, and no high-fructose corn syrup. Their sodas are made with organic cane juice and natural flavors. Their house sauces are made fresh daily with organic ingredients.
Plant Power restaurants have a wider selection for their menu than the truck does. But both of them have burgers, ‘chicken’ nuggets / tenders, and fries. They also have gluten-free options.
But the best part is that they’ve recreated In-N-Out Animal Style fries. The Iconic Fries honestly taste better than Animal Style fries. We don’t love In-N-Out fries because unless you get them well-done, they’re a little bland. But these fries taste amazing.
We also tried the Big Zac aka McDonald’s Big Mac. WOW. We were seriously surprised. It really does taste like a Big Mac, but it looks way better. You know how McDonald’s burgers never quite look like their menu photos… Well, the Big Zac looks like the Big Mac in the menu photo.
@exercisewithextrafries We’re not vegan, but would 💯 recommend! #learnontiktok #tiktokpartner #losangelesfood #losangeles #veganfoodie
