Since we knew we were going to do 2 Turkey Burn classes, 90 minute SoulCycle rides, we didn’t want to add anything too crazy to our weekly workout schedule. We didn’t want to be burnt out before we got to our first Turkey Burn class since 90 minutes is a lot!
Weekly Workout
Monday 11/19 – SoulCycle with David
Jo: Sad we didn’t get to sit next to each other! Also need to stop aggressively pounding on the bike handles LOL
Grace: Sad we didn’t get to sit next to each other! But can’t wait for Thursday!
Tuesday 11/20 – Rest Day
Jo: Tuesday is leg day at Barry’s Bootcamp and Training Mate, but gave my legs a rest since I would be sitting front row for Turkey Burn.
Grace: Eh. Probably should have gotten up to go to Training Mate. But I went to bed pretty late Monday night working on some projects. So it was nice to have a rest day.
Wednesday 11/21 – Training Mate with Reuben

Grace: Mighty Mate is my fave Training Mate session during the week because it’s 1 minute stations, an hour, and full body! Reuben KILLED me. Kinda glad I missed my 8 am class 😂
Thursday 11/22 – SoulCycle Turkey Burn with David

Jo: Thanksgiving Eve is the biggest drinking night of the year. Decided not to partake and only had 2 glasses of wine at dinner. YAY me! I love the energy of the room on Thanksgiving Day Turkey Burn. Not only is the energy of the room amazing, but I also love the part where David reads a few notecards on what they’re thankful for.
Grace: Turkey Burn rides are my favorite! The 90 minutes don’t even feel like 90 minutes. David paces the class so well. Plus there’s just so much good energy in the room. This year meant so much more with how much David and SoulCycle has helped me through all the rough times.
Friday 11/23 – SoulCycle Turkey Burn with David
Jo: AAHHH! It was SO HOT in the room. I felt like I was going to pass out so I had to sit for some of the songs.
Grace: Whew. Thankfully I wasn’t hungover in the morning. We did 2 Turkey Burns last year too, but this year felt way harder.
